Each instrument from start to finish is hand crafted, individually setup and made from solid woods selected for both sound quality and visual aesthetics by Colin Schmidt. A very thin Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish allows the wood to resonate with as much tone and volume as possible whilst still providing a layer of protection to the wood.  The nut and saddle are natural bone or shed deer, moose and elk antler, not plastic.  Higher quality Grover or Gotoh brand name hardware, Aquila Corde or D’Addario strings and Jescar  Gold EVO fret wire mean better playability, tone and tuning stability.
